FirstWave is an independent service connecting brands and Threads creators. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
The service is operated by FirstWave. We are not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. and are not part of Threads.
Email and a password hash (the plain password itself is never stored anywhere).
If you sign up as a creator — your Threads profile handle/link.
If you sign up as a brand — company name, description, website (optional), and a Telegram contact.
Technical data while using the service: IP address, device type, error logs — needed for security and troubleshooting.
To let you register, log in, and use the service.
To send a verification code to your email during registration.
To link a brand's orders to a creator's posts and calculate payouts correctly.
To find and fix technical issues.
Resend — an email delivery service (used only to send your verification code).
Sentry — an error-tracking service (receives technical crash data, never passwords or messages).
We do not sell data to third parties or use it for advertising outside the service.
Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt).
Your login session is a token in a secure (httpOnly) cookie, not readable via JavaScript in the browser.
You can request a copy of your data, its correction, or its deletion by writing to us (see Contact below).
We currently use only one technical cookie — for your login session. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
We may update this page as the service evolves. The last update date is shown at the top of the page.
